In 1995, The Ivymount School established an outreach program, first known as CORE and later as Ivymount Outreach Programs’ Early Childhood Division, to support young children who were experiencing challenges in typical classroom or childcare settings with individualized strategies to fit their needs. In 2013, our team of early childhood experts launched Child Development Consultants, LLC.
Collectively, we represent more than 75 years of experience working with young children who have language, sensory motor and/or behavioral challenges. We have spoken at conferences nationwide for early childhood educators, and published a nationally-acclaimed book for parents called Is It A Big Problem or A Little Problem? When to Worry, When Not to Worry, and What to Do.
